Photographed a wonderful event April 29th for Make A Wish. World Wish Day Concert was held at the National Art Gallery of Canada and featured singers: Michael Pytura, Andrés del Castillo, and Melanie Cloutier. Honorary Chair, Patrick Morris from Morris Home Team was on hand. More about Make A Wish at www.250wishes.ca .  One of the bravest girls I’ve seen, Allie, gave not only a wonderful speech, but also joined in on the concert singing a Justin Bieber tune on a guitar signed by the Beebs himself as part of her wish. Well done Allie!

Miv Fournier Wins Five Accolades of Excellence in the 2011 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition
Miv Fournier of Ottawa, ON, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL 2011 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas, NV on February 19 and 20, 2011.
“Alone At Last”, “Nigerian Reflection”, “One Last Glance”, “Looking Skyward” & “Renaissance Lounge” each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Premier Image category.
Fournier competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.
The Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2011 competition included 2171 prints in 18 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.

This year, WedLuxe is excited to debut the first annual “Best of WedLuxe Awards” to recognize the individual contributions and extraordinary talent of the event professionals whose work has been showcased within our featured real-life weddings this year!
